IVR Council of Management appoints new member
Following a postal vote by members Mark McAllister has been invited to become a
member of the Institute of Vehicle Recovery (IVR) Council of Management.
Mark has been running McAllister's Recovery since 2001 after completing a
Business Studies degree through Surrey University.
He has qualified in the core modules and nearly all operational modules including
incident management / rotator, he also qualified as an internal IVR instructor at
McAllister's.
Mark now specialises in incident management at all levels and in 2011 he was the
incident manager for a Hazmat rollover recovery that, along with BJG Solutions, won
the Bill Jackson Award.
During his career he has helped to run the Tow Show plus numerous industry groups
/committees and as vice-chairman of the RHA Recovery Group he was actively
involved in representing the industry in statutory fees negotiations with the Home
Office.
